Do I need previous backpacking or hiking experience to participate?
No, you do not. Our beginner expeditions are open to any individual in reasonably good shape.

What equipment does Amaruk provide?

What do we eat during an expedition?
We use food that minimize our impact on the environment as well as wildlife conflicts, while providing tasty and healthy meals.

What happens if we encounter aggressive wildlife?

How long has Amaruk been in operation?
Amaruk has been operating in Canada since 1998.

Is it always cold in Canada?
No. Temperatures in Summer are usually pleasant and they may reach up to 40C.
