Our Divemasters and Instructors are PADI, UDI and/or CMAS certified. They have extensive experience in various local areas around the world.
Christopher G. Fragassi, Chief Operations Officer of Amaruk Scuba Diving, has been a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor since 1997. He is also a UDI (United Diving Instructor) and a CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques also known as World Underwater Federation) Instructor.
He has been diving since the age of 12, and began his underwater explorations on the small Mediterranean island of Corsica, and in the tropical paradise of Tahiti. He has logged over 2,200 dives throughout the world, including the Mediterranean, the South Pacific, Asia, the Caribbean and Central America.
He has a Special Forces background, and he is also First Aid/CPR Instructor and a float plane Commercial Pilot. He studies Fish and Wildlife Management at Oregon State University in the United States. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, as well as a life member of the U.S. Naval Institute.
Christopher is fully bilingual in English/French, and can therefore offer you courses in either language. He can also conduct courses in metric or imperial units.
